DEFINITE AND INDEFINITE ARTICLES
Articles are words that define a noun as determined or undetermined (definite and indefinite). The article is the word that accompanies the noun and goes before it , except in the case of proper names (we don’t say the Juan, the Teresa)
For example, we go to a restaurant. We tell the waiter:
I want a table please.
The waiter can give you any table.
Something different is if you say to the waiter:
I want the table that is near the window. (it’s a specific or determined table).
In Spanish, the definite and indefinite articles are:
